The nVent AFS05052-316 is a wall-mounted hygienic enclosure designed for critical applications in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, and water treatment facilities. Constructed from 1.5mm AISI 316L pre-grained stainless steel, this enclosure offers exceptional resistance to corrosion, frequent washdowns, and ingress of dust and water, achieving an IP66 rating. Its integral sloping roof, angled between 8 and 20 degrees with a 10mm overhang, effectively directs liquids away from the door, preventing accumulation. The single-door design features a 130° opening for secure and convenient access. Inside, a 2mm galvanized steel mounting plate is provided, marked at 10mm intervals for precise equipment placement. The enclosure is equipped with concealed AISI 304 stainless steel hinges with captive pins and a Zamak double-bit lock with 90° movement. Sealing is maintained by a one-piece silicone gasket, ensuring environmental protection. Rated IK10 for impact resistance, the AFS05052-316 measures 500x500x210mm (WxHxD). This enclosure is delivered with the door, mounting plate, metallic key, and mounting accessories.
