Overview

The nVent AFS03021-316 is a wall-mounted hygienic enclosure constructed from AISI 316L pre-grained stainless steel, measuring 300x200x155mm. It features a single door with a 130° opening and is sealed with an injected one-piece silicone gasket for IP66 protection. The enclosure's top has an integral sloping roof, angled between 8 and 20 degrees with a 10mm overhang, designed to shed liquids away from the door and prevent pooling. The body is 1.5mm thick, and the door is also 1.5mm thick. It includes a 2mm galvanized steel mounting plate marked at 10mm intervals for easy equipment positioning and features holes for cable fixing. The AFS03021-316 offers TYPE 4X, 12, 13, and IK10 protection ratings, making it suitable for environments requiring high levels of dust and water ingress protection, as well as resistance to mechanical impacts. Applications include food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical facilities, and water treatment plants where hygiene and corrosion resistance are critical. The enclosure is delivered with the door, mounting plate, a metallic key, and mounting accessories.

  • Cable access: No gland openings as standard.
