How to Install the Hoffman Folding Shelf (ACSHELF12 Series)
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for securely installing the Hoffman Folding Shelf accessory into an enclosure, ensuring proper mechanical setup and compliance with UL/CSA Type 12, 4, 4X standards.

Supplies needed:
1/4-20x.75 screws, 1/4-20 keps nuts, Plastic washers, Velcro strips
- Prepare Enclosure Mounting Holes
Drill the necessary mounting holes in the enclosure wall according to the provided drilling pattern. Ensure precise alignment for proper shelf installation.
- Unfold Shelf Braces
Raise the folding shelf until its support braces fully unfold and lock securely into the open position. This prepares the shelf for mounting.
- Mount Shelf to Enclosure
Place the plastic washers over the 1/4-20x.75 screws. Insert these assemblies through the enclosure wall and the corresponding shelf mounting holes. Secure the shelf firmly in place using the 1/4-20 keps nuts.
- Apply Velcro Strips
Apply the provided velcro strips to the designated locations on the shelf. These strips will help secure the shelf when it is folded down for storage.
