How to Install the Sequestr External Disconnect Enclosure

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Sequestr external disconnect enclosure to a control enclosure, ensuring proper mounting, wiring, and configuration.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter, Drill

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Hoffman hole seal, Hoffman blank adapter plate

  1. Power Down the System

Turn off the local disconnect in the control enclosure and the feeder disconnect. Put on appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and open the control enclosure.

  2. Remove Old Hardware

Remove the existing disconnect from the control enclosure and seal the existing hole using a Hoffman hole seal. Cover and protect all components inside the control enclosure.

  3. Mount the Sequestr Enclosure

Remove the subpanel from the Sequestr enclosure. Hang the Sequestr enclosure on the side of the control enclosure using M6x16mm bolts and secure it with washer head cap screws from inside the control enclosure.
