- Prepare the enclosure
Select the upper or lower end of the enclosure for conduit entrance. Ensure the area is clear and accessible.
- Drill and tap conduit holes
Drill and tap the hole for the conduit entrance at the desired location using the appropriate drill size from the provided table. Use taper pipe thread (NPT) taps only.
- Install the conduit
Screw the conduit into the tapped hole, ensuring it protrudes sufficiently to attach a conduit bushing. Tighten securely with a wrench.
- Attach the conduit bushing
Attach a conduit bushing to the protruding portion of the conduit to ensure a secure connection.
- Seal unused openings
Fill any unused conduit openings with conduit plugs of the correct thread size, ensuring a minimum thread engagement of 3 1/2 threads.
