The nVent A242412GSC is a 24.00 x 24.00 x 12.00-inch galvanized steel screw-cover enclosure designed for Type 3 applications. Constructed from 14-gauge G-90 galvanized steel for the body and 12-gauge for the cover, this enclosure offers robust protection against windblown dust, rain, sleet, and snow. It meets UL 50, 50E Listed; Type 3R; File No. E27525 and cUL Listed per CSA C22.2 No 94; Type 3R; File No. E27525 standards, as well as NEMA/EEMAC Type 3R and IEC 60529, IP32 ratings. Key features include seam-free sides, front, and back, a drip shield top, and a slip-on removable cover secured with plated steel screws. The enclosure includes embossed mounting holes on the back and a grounding stud on the inside back. Mounting screws, Sealing washers, Mounting foot studs, Nuts

  1. Prepare the mounting location

  2. Install mounting feet

    Insert sealing washers into the holes from the outside, ensuring the tapered cone is facing toward the hole. Then, insert the mounting foot studs through the sealing washers.

  3. Secure the controller

    Turn the enclosure upright and thread nuts onto the mounting foot studs. Tighten the nuts to 200 in-lbs to ensure a secure installation.
