The nVent A21BAP Mild Steel Blank Adapter Plate (SKU: A21BAP) is a heavy-gauge steel plate designed to cover flange cutouts in nVent disconnect enclosures (A21, A28, A34) when disconnects are not installed. This adapter plate transforms standard enclosures into Type 12 enclosures, providing dust-tight and oil-tight protection against environmental contaminants. Constructed from 4mm mild steel with a RAL 7035 gray powder-coated finish, the A21BAP ensures long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. Each plate includes an oil-resistant gasket to maintain enclosure integrity and prevent ingress of dust, oil, and other contaminants. Installation is straightforward with included mounting hardware and instructions, enabling quick adaptation of existing enclosures without extensive downtime. Note: Door hardware is not included and must be ordered separately for specific enclosure models (e.g., A22BAP for Bulletin A22 enclosures).
