Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Connector (SKU: CS81W64) is engineered for superior electrical connectivity in demanding industrial settings. This 3-pole, 4-wire connector is rated for 480V and features a California Style Locking Blade for secure connections. Its robust construction, including a NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber outer housing and grommet, provides exceptional resistance to contaminants, vapor, and water, capable of withstanding high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi. The connector meets IEC ratings of IP55, 56, 57, 65, 66, and 67, ensuring reliable performance in wet locations and harsh environments. Key features include tri-drive terminal screws for versatile wiring, floating blade construction for self-alignment and reduced wear, and a transparent wiring guide for verification. The captive, tri-drive Stainless Steel speed screw facilitates easy assembly and longevity. A three-piece strain relief system effectively seals the cord without damage. The Cord Grip Body Size is F5, accommodating 1¼" cords. Plug blades and connector contacts are nickel-plated brass, with a nylon face insert and brass wire saddle clamp. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 75°C continuous. This connector is UL recognized (E10176) and CSA certified (LR6837), with NSF certification (NSF/ANSI/3-A 14159-1). While non-NEMA rated, its design prioritizes performance and protection in specialized industrial applications requiring its unique features, such as manufacturing lines and processing plants.
