Overview

The Woodhead 460R7W is a 60 Amp Watertite® Pin & Sleeve Receptacle (3P/4W) rated for 480V three-phase power. It features a red flip lid, a nylon housing and contact carrier for corrosion, impact, and UV resistance, and an IP67 rating per IEC 60529 for dust and temporary water immersion. Deadfront construction prevents live component exposure. Self-adjusting nickel-plated steel split contact sleeves ensure consistent pressure, electrical continuity, and grounding integrity while preventing arcing and overheating. A latching mechanism secures connections, and a keyway alignment system enables quick, accurate mating with compatible plugs. Internally, large identified terminals support flexible conductor sizing, and internal/external strain relief reduces cable stress. Certified to IEC 309-1 and 309-2 standards, it complies with NEC Section 410-56(g).
