Overview

The Woodhead Watertite® Male Receptacle, SKU 68W75, is engineered for robust power connectivity in demanding industrial wet locations. This receptacle features a locking blade mechanism for secure connections and a single flip coverplate for environmental protection. Designed to meet NEMA L15-30 specifications, it is rated for 3-phase, 250V applications, making it suitable for heavy-duty machinery and equipment. Key features include a multiple seal plug/connector interface that effectively resists vapor and water ingress, even under high-pressure washdown conditions up to 1000psi. The internal components are protected by a durable Lexan* coverplate. Wiring is simplified with color-coded, tri-drive terminal screws that accept straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers, preset in an open position for immediate use. A transparent wiring guide ensures all wire strands are correctly positioned before securing. The floating blade construction offers self-alignment, promoting superior mechanical and electrical connections while minimizing wear and heat generation. Assembly is facilitated by captive, tri-drive stainless steel speed screws. The receptacle is constructed with an NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber outer housing and grommet for resilience, nickel-plated brass for blades and connector contacts, and brass wire saddle clamps. Face screws are stainless steel, and the face insert is nylon. This Woodhead Watertite® receptacle is UL recognized (Receptacle—E68122) and CSA certified (LR6837), ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. Its physical characteristics include an F4 body size and a ¾" cord grip. The product is manufactured in the US.
