Overview

The Woodhead MAX-LOC®/Watertite® Cord Grip (SKU 5636M) delivers a liquid-tight strain relief solution for industrial cable management. This straight male cord grip features a 1" NPT threaded body (F4 size) designed to secure cable diameters between 12.70mm and 15.88mm (.500" to .625"). The nylon body and rubber grommet provide impact and corrosion resistance while ensuring a liquid-tight seal to prevent water and dust ingress. The grommet is chemically resistant and operates across a wide temperature range. For enhanced sealing, a neoprene O-ring (sold separately or with locknut option) can be added to achieve NEMA 6P ratings; without the O-ring, the fitting meets NEMA 3R requirements. The gray nylon body and white washer offer an industrial aesthetic and long-term performance.
