Overview

The Woodhead 460R9W is a 60 Amp Watertite® Pin & Sleeve Receptacle, designed for 3-phase, 250V applications. This receptacle features a 3 Pole/4 Wire configuration and a durable blue Type G nylon housing, meeting IEC 309-1 and 309-2 standards for visual identification and compliance. Its IP67 rating ensures complete protection against dust and temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for wet locations, outdoor installations, marine environments, and industrial facilities. The self-adjusting split contact sleeve, made from nickel-plated steel springs, maintains consistent pressure for reliable electrical continuity and grounding. A latching mechanism prevents accidental disengagement. Installation is simplified with a keyway for alignment and an internal strain relief. Large, identified terminals accommodate various conductor sizes. The "onion ring" neoprene bushing seals cables of different diameters.
