Overview

The Woodhead Super-Safeway® Connector (SKU 2947) is a robust industrial wiring device designed for secure and reliable power connections. Featuring a NEMA L5-30 configuration, it operates at 125V and 30A, with a 2-pole, 3-wire (2P+G) setup for essential grounding. The locking blade design ensures a positive lock, preventing accidental disconnections, crucial for environments with vibration or movement. Constructed with Woodhead's signature Super-Safeway® industrial rubber, this connector offers superior resistance to abrasion, chemical exposure, and temperature extremes (-40°C to 75°C). Its NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber body provides exceptional durability for demanding applications in manufacturing, construction, and heavy-duty settings. The nickel-plated brass plug blades and contacts ensure reliable electrical conductivity. Tri-drive screws facilitate easy assembly, and a two-piece cord-clamp strain relief provides secure cord retention. This connector is UL recognized (E10176) and CSA certified (LR6837), guaranteeing performance and safety. Ideal for powering industrial machinery and critical equipment requiring uninterrupted power flow.

Solar combiners (solar panel combiner boxes) are engineered to combine power from several solar panels onto a common bus. They are specially designed for the types of wiring used in photovoltaic (PV) systems. The output would then be connected to a charge controller or inverter depending on the type of system. Solar combiners also allow for a transition to larger wires between the array and the batteries or inverter to minimize transmission voltage drop all while protecting the array. Streamline now offers a variety of premium plug and play solar combiner box solutions. Built in Streamlines UL 508-A panel shop just outside of Milwaukee Wisconsin these systems can be trusted to perform. All combiner boxes are hand-assembled using best-in-class name brand components and are built to stand up under even the harshest conditions. In addition they are highly serviceable. The polycarbonate enclosure features a full-length piano-hinged door with a non-metallic latch. They offer a variety of mounting options thanks to brass inserts on the rear wall of the enclosure and the lid. Made in the U.S.A the enclosures are UL/cUL NEMA Type 6P IP68 as well as UV and chemical resistant.
