Woodhead Safeway® Plug with Locking Blade, SKU 28T76YL, is a NEMA L16-30, 30A, 480V, 3-phase, 4-wire industrial locking plug designed for heavy-duty applications. Features a durable nylon Safeway outer housing with nickel-plated brass contacts for corrosion resistance and long service life. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment for a secure mechanical and electrical connection, minimizing wear and heat generation. Tri-drive wire screw terminals accommodate straight, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers, while a transparent wiring guide verifies proper wire strand placement before securing. The plug includes captive, tri-drive stainless steel speed screws and a two-piece cord-clamp strain relief with tri-drive screws for firm cord retention. Rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to 75°C, it withstands abrasion, chemical exposure, and mechanical stress. UL File No. E10176 and CSA File No. LR6837 certified.
