The Woodhead Watertite® Connector with Locking Blade (SKU 27W83) is engineered for superior performance and reliability in demanding industrial environments, particularly in wet locations. This robust connector features a 4-pole, 5-wire configuration with a NEMA L23-20 rating, making it ideal for three-phase power distribution up to 600V. Its construction includes a NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber outer housing and grommet, nickel-plated brass contacts, stainless steel face screws, and a Lexan* receptacle coverplate, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh conditions. The F3 cord grip body size provides a secure, watertight seal, capable of withstanding high-pressure washdowns up to 1000psi. Key features include color-coded, tri-drive terminal screws preset for easy wiring, floating blade construction for self-alignment and reduced wear, and a transparent wiring guide for verification. The connector is rated for NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12, and IEC IP55-67. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 75°C continuous and exhibits a maximum 30°C temperature rise at full rated current after 50 cycles of overload at 150% of rated current with a 75% power factor.
