The connector utilizes a locking blade mechanism for secure connections and features a single flip coverplate for easy access and protection when not in use. Constructed with a durable NEo-TEX® Paracril OZO rubber outer housing and grommet, nickel-plated brass plug blades and connector contacts, and stainless steel face screws, this connector is built for longevity. The internal components include tri-drive terminal screws, preset in an open position for straightforward wiring, compatible with straight blade, Phillips, and square-drive screwdrivers. A transparent wiring guide aids in verifying wire strand placement before securing. The floating blade construction ensures self-alignment, promoting better mechanical and electrical connections while minimizing wear and heat generation. The F3 body size and ¾" cord grip accommodate various cable sizes. This connector meets NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, and 12 ratings, as well as IEC IP55, 56, 57, 65, 66, and 67 ratings.
