Overview

The Woodhead Safeway® Connector with Locking Blade (SKU: 27T75) is a robust, industrial-grade electrical connector designed for secure and reliable power distribution. This connector adheres to NEMA L15-20 standards, offering a 3 pole/4 wire configuration for 3-phase power at 250V. Engineered with Woodhead's Super-Safeway® technology, it features a locking blade mechanism to prevent accidental disconnections, ensuring operational continuity in demanding industrial settings. The connector's construction utilizes industrial-grade materials like NEo-TEX Paracril OZO rubber for the Super-Safeway housing or durable Nylon for the Safeway housing, providing excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, and temperature extremes (-40°C to 75°C). Its nickel-plated brass plug blades and contacts ensure superior conductivity. The floating blade construction offers self-alignment and a better mechanical/electrical connection, minimizing wear and heat generation. Tri-drive wire screw terminals facilitate easy wiring with various screwdriver types, and a captive, stainless steel speed screw ensures long life and simple assembly. The two-piece cord-clamp strain relief securely grips cords ranging from .425 to 1.150 inches.
