The Schlegel Elektrokontakt BZI momentary switch (SKU: BZI) is a precision-engineered industrial control component designed for reliable switching in automation, machinery, and control panel applications. This single-pole normally open (1x NO) switch features a 3 mm momentary travel with AgNi (Silver Nickel) contact material, delivering low contact resistance (<20 mΩ new) and high durability with a mechanical and electrical life of 1 million switching cycles at rated load. Connection is via Faston terminals (2.8 x 0.8 mm), enabling quick and secure installation in control systems. The BZI switch supports a wide operating range, including AC15 (B300) and DC13 (Q300) applications, with a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 250 VAC/300 VDC and a thermal continuous current (Ith) of 6 A. For AC15 use, it handles 240 VAC at 1.5 A, while DC13 applications support up to 250 VDC at 0.2 A, 125 VDC at 0.4 A, 60 VDC at 1 A, or 24 VDC at 2 A. The switch operates reliably across a broad temperature range (-30°C to 70°C operating, -50°C to 85°C storage) and meets IEC/EN 60947-5-1 and IEC/EN 61058-1 standards. With a minimum switching current of 1 mA and minimum voltage of 5 V, it ensures stable performance even in low-power control circuits. The BZI’s fast response (<10 ms bounce time) and compact design make it ideal for space-constrained industrial environments where precision and repeatability are critical.
