How to Install the XG-ADS6W Air Dam Seal Kit
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the XG-ADS6W Air Dam Seal Kit, including mounting, sealing, and configuring the components.

Utility Knife, 8mm Wrench
Supplies needed:
M5x0.8 Hex Nuts, 3/8” Bulb Seal, 1” Flap Seal, 1.75” Flap Seal, 1-1/4” Bulb Seal, 1” X 7/8” Bulb Seal, Locking Panel Plugs
- Install Top Horizontal Air Dam
Attach (1) 3/8” Bulb Seal and (3) 1” Flap Seals to the Top Horizontal Air Dam. Then, install the Top Horizontal Air Dam and secure it with (2) M5x0.8 Hex Nuts using an 8mm wrench.
- Install Bottom Horizontal Air Dam
Attach (1) 3/8” Bulb Seal to the Bottom Horizontal Air Dam. If the gap between the Bottom Horizontal Air Dam and the floor exceeds 3/4”, attach (1) 1.75” Flap Seal to the Bottom Horizontal Air Dam. Install the Bottom Horizontal Air Dam and secure it with (2) M5x0.8 Hex Nuts.
- Install Finger Covers
For XG-ADS6W, pull the plunger out before installing the Finger Covers onto the E-Rails. Starting from the top of the cabinet, insert the Finger Covers into the diamond cut-out and push the Grommet through the hole in the E-Rail. Finally, push the Plunger toward the E-Rail until it is flush against the Grommet.
- Install Vertical Bulb Seals
Wipe the face of the E-Rail with alcohol before installing the bulb seals. Attach (4) 1-1/4” Bulb Seals to the side flanges between the Top, Middle, and Bottom Front-to-Back Side Beams to create a seal.
- Install Locking Panel Plugs
For XG-ADS7* and XG-ADS8* models, insert (2) Locking Panel Plugs into the E-Rails, one per side.
