In order to make the connection, the powder coat must be properly removed from the pathway surfaces that contact the zinc-plated clip on the back side of the splice. #2 Phillips Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
Mounting clips, Tray liners
- Loosely install clips
Loosely install 2 clips into the slots of the Tray liner and place it onto the pathway.
- Slide clips onto crosswires
Slide the 2 clips onto the crosswires of the pathway to secure the Tray liner in place.
- Tighten screws
Tighten the screws to a torque of 5 ft/lbs to ensure effective bonding of the Tray liner to the pathway.
- Install second Tray Liner
Repeat step 1, butting the second Tray Liner up to the previously installed Tray Liner.
- Secure second Tray Liner
Repeat steps 2 & 3 on the second Tray Liner to ensure it is properly installed.
