Strain relief boot, Strain relief collar, Conductor divider, Load bar, Plug housing
- Prepare the cable
Thread the strain relief boot and collar onto the cable. Remove 1.5 inches of the outer jacket using a wire stripping tool.
- Fan the twisted pairs
Fan the twisted pairs into respective quadrants, ensuring the brown pair is opposite the orange pair. If present, cut the internal spline flush with the fanned pairs using a wire snipping tool.
- Insert the conductor divider
Align the conductor divider's 'V' channel with the green pair and insert the divider posts into the cable. Ensure the divider is held flush with the cable jacket.
- Arrange conductors
Arrange the conductors according to the T568B wiring scheme while minimizing untwist. Seat the conductors into the proper divider slots.
- Guide conductors into load bar
Guide the conductors into the load bar holes while holding the conductors in the divider. Slide the load bar towards the divider until it is flush.
