- Familiarize with Master Key Positions
Before use, understand the Master Key's two positions: 'Unlocked Position' where the blades are together, and 'Locked Position' where the blades are separate. Also, note the sliding button position on the key.
- Unlock Device for Insertion (USB Type C and RJ45)
For USB Type C and RJ45 lockout devices, the device must be in the UNLOCKED position before insertion. To achieve this, ensure the Master Key is in its 'Unlocked Position' (blades together) and insert its blades into the lockout device.
- Install USB Type A Lockout Device
For USB Type A lockout devices, ensure correct orientation and insert the device firmly into the USB Type A port.
- Install USB Type C or RJ45 Lockout Device
For USB Type C or RJ45 lockout devices, insert the device (which should be in the UNLOCKED position from Step 2) into the respective port. Once inserted, press the lock button on the device to secure it in place within the port.
- Remove Lockout Device from Port
