How to Install the Net-Access S-Type Universal Cabinet

Phillips screwdriver, Flatblade screwdriver, 22mm socket wrench, 15mm socket wrench, 13mm socket wrench, 8mm socket wrench, 48” level, 7mm socket wrench, T30 Torx bit, T25 Torx bit, 6mm Allen key, 2.5mm Allen key, Wire cutter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, M10 Hex Head Screws, M5 Torx Screws, Grounding Lug or Grounding Bar, Foam Seals
- Remove Packaging Material
Inspect the cabinet for damage before accepting it. Remove all stretch wrap and protective cardboard from the outside of the cabinet, and remove the shipping brackets if necessary.
- Level the Cabinet
Ensure that the leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position and lower the leveling legs using a 6mm Allen key until the cabinet weight is fully supported. Adjust the legs to ensure the cabinet is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor
If necessary, secure the shipping hold down brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Attach the anchors to the floor with appropriate hardware for your type of floor using M10 Hex Head Screws.
- Ground the Cabinet
Attach a grounding lug or grounding bar at any of the designated locations using an M5 bonding screw.
- Adjust Equipment Rails
Loosen the M10 Hex Head Screws at the top and bottom of the equipment rail. Adjust the equipment rail to the desired position and tighten the screws to a torque of 30.0 +/- 5.0 N-m.
- Install Cable Management Features
Insert the tabs of the cable management fingers into the mounting slots of the equipment rails and slide them inward to lock them into place.
- Install Doors
For single hinge doors, pull down the compression sleeve at the top hinge and pull the door away from the cabinet. Reverse the steps to install the door.
- Final Inspection
Verify that all screws are tightened, the cabinet is level, and all components are securely installed. Ensure that grounding connections are properly made.
