This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation and setup of the S7812BU cabinet, ensuring it is securely mounted and properly configured.

Phillips screwdriver, Flatblade screwdriver, 22mm socket wrench, 15mm socket wrench, 13mm socket wrench, 8mm socket wrench, 48” level, 6mm Allen key, Wire cutter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, M10 Hex Head Screws, M5 Torx Screws, Grounding Lug, Foam Seals
- Remove Packaging Material
Remove all stretch wrap and protective cardboard from the cabinet. Ensure to inspect the cabinet for any damage before proceeding.
- Mount the Cabinet
Ensure the leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position and lower the leveling legs using a 6mm Allen key until the cabinet is level front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor
If necessary, secure the shipping hold down brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Attach anchors to the floor using appropriate hardware for your floor type.
- Ground the Cabinet
Attach a grounding lug or grounding bar at any of the designated locations using an M5 bonding screw to ensure proper grounding.
- Adjust Equipment Rails
Loosen the M10 hex head screws at the top and bottom of the equipment rail. Adjust the rail to the desired position and tighten the screws to 30.0 +/- 5.0 N-m.
- Install Cable Management Features
Insert the tabs of the cable management fingers into the mounting slots of the equipment rails and slide inward to lock them in place.
- Install Vertical Blanking Panels
Install the flap seal sections onto the edges of the bottom horizontal blanking panel. Secure the panel with M5 Torx screws and attach the D-shaped rubber seal.
- Final Inspection
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all components are securely installed and the cabinet is level. Verify grounding connections and ensure no tools or materials are left inside the cabinet.
