Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Paint piercing washers, Anti-oxidizing gel
- Prepare the rack
Lay one side assembly on a stable surface. Apply anti-oxidizing gel to the painted surfaces where the paint piercing washers will contact. Install the base angles and top brackets using 3/8" bolts and paint piercing washers, but do not tighten them yet.
- Assemble the side channels
Position the remaining side assembly and apply anti-oxidizing gel to the painted surfaces. Attach it to the base angles using 3/8" bolts and paint piercing washers, ensuring not to tighten them at this stage.
- Secure the assembly
Hinge the side assembly upwards and align the mounting holes in the top brackets. Install the remaining 3/8" bolts and paint piercing washers. Stand the rack upright and verify that the rack is square by measuring the distances between specified points. Tighten all bolts to at least 14 ft-lbs (19.0 N-m).
- Mount the shelf
Slide the RSHLF shelf into the slots of the rear mounting bracket. Secure the shelf with four #12-24 screws to ensure it is firmly attached.
- Final checks
Verify that all connections are secure and that the shelf is level. Ensure that the rack is properly grounded and that all safety measures are in place before use.
