It includes a removable 14 gauge inner panel finished in white powder coating, with internal threaded weld studs for mounting. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud on the enclosure. The exterior is phosphatized and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating.   1. Prepare the Mounting Plate

    Use the supplied mounting template to mark the hole locations on the aluminum mounting plate. Drill the holes as indicated.

  2. Attach the Mounting Plate

    Secure the mounting plate to the enclosure using the supplied #10-32 x 3/8” screws and washers.

  3. Install the Conduit Connector

    Install a straight liquid tight conduit connector in line with the electrical box mount location.

  4. Seal the Cord Grip

    Install a cord grip or conduit fitting on the bottom surface of the enclosure for incoming cables. Apply RTV silicone to ensure a liquid tight seal.

  5. Install the Antenna Extender

    Install a bulkhead antenna extender to the bottom surface of the enclosure and apply RTV silicone to maintain a liquid tight seal.

  6. Mount the Surface Mount Box

    Fasten the supplied 2 position surface mount box base to the wall of the enclosure using double-sided tape or the supplied screws.

  7. Run Network Cable

    Run the network cable into the enclosure and terminate it to the MINI-COM TX6 jack module installed in the surface mount box.

  8. Connect the Wireless Access Point

    Insert one end of the 2’ patch cord into the jack module and route the other end to the wireless access point's RJ45 port.

  9. Install the Power Adapter

    Locate the CISCO AC power adapter within the enclosure, ensuring to slack any excess cable beside it.

  10. Attach External Antennas

    Attach the required external antennas to the bulkhead fittings installed on the bottom surface of the enclosure.
