Lockout hasps, Padlocks, Danger tags
- Isolate energy sources
Isolate all energy sources to the equipment. Perform an Electrical De-Energization Test to verify that the equipment is de-energized.
- Install the hasp
Open the jaws of the hasp and install it onto the switch or device that needs to be isolated.
- Secure the hasp
Close the hasp so that the jaws go through the locking hole provided on the device.
- Add padlocks and tags
Insert up to six padlocks and Danger tags into the holes of the hasp. Verify that the disconnect lockout device secures the handle in a safe or off position.
