Phillips screwdriver, Torx screwdriver, USB Drive (for firmware upgrade)
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Ground bonding cable, Tie wraps
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the face of the PDU, opposite the outlets. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack.
- Connect the Input Cord
Open the input cord connector latches on the PDU and insert the input cord plug. Close the latches to lock the input cord into the connector.
- Ground the PDU
Connect the ground bonding cable to the external ground bonding point located on the chassis of the PDU. Ensure the cable is securely attached to a known earthed reference terminal.
- Connect to Power Source
Turn the feed circuit breaker Off. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit. Turn the feed circuit breaker On and verify that the OLED screen displays the main menu.
- Configure Input Cord Type
Access the Web interface of the PDU. Navigate to the System Management page and select 'Set Input Cord' under actions. Choose the correct cord type from the dropdown and select 'Save' to reset the PDU.
