Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Ground bonding cable, Terminal connectors
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the face of the PDU. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack to secure the PDU.
- Connect the input cord
Open the input cord connector latches on the PDU and insert the input cord plug. Close the latches to lock the input cord into the connector.
- Ground the PDU
Connect a ground bonding cable to the external ground bonding point on the chassis of the PDU. Ensure the other end is securely bonded to a known earthed reference terminal.
- Connect to power source
Turn off the feed circuit breaker. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit. Turn the feed circuit breaker back on and verify the OLED screen displays the main menu.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface to configure the input cord type. Navigate to the System Management page, select 'Set Input Cord', choose the correct cord type, and save the settings.
