Phillips screwdriver, Torx screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cage nuts, Ground bonding cable
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the face of the PDU. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack.
- Connect the Ground Bonding Cable
Locate the external ground bonding point on the chassis of the PDU. Attach the ground bonding cable to this point to ensure proper grounding.
- Connect the PDU to Power Source
Turn the feed circuit breaker Off. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit, ensuring all circuit breakers on the PDU are set to On. Turn the feed circuit breaker On.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface to configure the input type of the PDU. Navigate to the System Management page, select Set Input Cord, choose the correct cord type, and save the settings.
- Verify Installation
