How to Install the P110B100-X Tower System

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the P110B100-X Tower System, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

  1. Mount the tower

    Secure the tower to the wall using #12 wood screws (not provided) or equivalent. Ensure the bottom of the tower is at least 8 inches from the floor to allow space for the horizontal cable manager trough.

  2. Route the cables

    Route the cable bundle into the tower and fan out individual cables into their appropriate positions through the cutouts provided. Leave 12 to 18 inches of slack and use cable ties to secure the bundle to the raised tabs on the back of the tower.

  3. Secure the base

    Position the base over the slots in the tower and secure it with two #12 sheet metal screws (supplied). Place the conductors into the index strip and install the connecting blocks as per the instruction sheet PN51* (provided).

  4. Install vertical cable managers

    Install vertical cable managers (P110VCM300 for 300 pair and P110VCM900 for 900 pair) adjacent to the towers using #12 wood screws (not provided) or equivalent.

  5. Attach horizontal cable manager trough

    Attach the horizontal cable manager trough to the towers and vertical cable managers using #12 sheet metal screws and #12 external tooth lockwashers (provided). Fasten securely to ensure grounding.

  6. Attach ground lug

    Attach the ground lug (P/N: LAM2A2/0-14-6) with a 1/4" x 3/4" machine screw, nut, and 1/4" external tooth lockwasher (provided) to the bottom of the horizontal cable manager trough.
