Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Cage nuts, Ground bonding cable
- Mount the PDU
Align and install the mounting buttons with the screw holes on the sides of the PDU. Insert the mounting buttons into the keyhole slots on the PDU mounting bracket in the rack.
- Connect the Ground Bonding Cable
Locate the external ground bonding point on the chassis of the PDU. Use a ground bonding cable to connect the PDU to a known earthed reference terminal in the building.
- Connect the PDU to Power Source
Turn the feed circuit breaker Off. Connect the PDU to an appropriately rated branch circuit. Turn the feed circuit breaker On and verify the OLED screen displays the main menu.
- Configure the PDU
Access the Web interface and navigate to the System Management page. Select 'Set Input Cord' and choose the correct cord type from the dropdown menu. Save the settings to complete the configuration.
