How to Payout Copper Cable from REELEX® System Packaging
This guide provides instructions for correctly handling and dispensing copper cable from REELEX® System Packaging, including how to prevent and resolve tangles during the payout process.

- Orient the Package Correctly
Orient the REELEX® package so that the payout hole faces the direction the copper cable is being pulled from. It is crucial to keep the coil upright at all times to prevent tangling.
- Prevent Tangling During Payout
Never dispense the copper cable with the coil in a horizontal position, as this significantly increases the risk of tangling and can damage the cable.
- Retrieve a Lost Cable End
If the cable end retracts into the payout hole, open the access panel or the package itself to reach the inside diameter of the coil. Carefully thread the inside end back through the payout tube.
- Resolve Cable Tangles
Should a tangle or snag occur, open the access panel or the package to access the inside of the coil. Ensure that the inner layers are not obstructing the cable payout. Resolve any knots within the package, or for REELEX® II, you may attempt to pull the knot through.
