Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
#12-24 x 1/2" screws, Rubber grommets, PG11 glands, Fiber caution label, Laser warning label
- Mount the fiber drawer
Secure the fiber drawer to the rack using four (4) #12-24 x 1/2" screws provided. Ensure the drawer is level and firmly attached.
- Install grommets and glands
Remove the knockouts for the rubber grommets and PG11 glands as needed. Insert the grommets and/or glands into the designated openings.
- Install fiber management spools
Remove the liner from the tape underneath each fiber management spool. Place the spools inside the enclosure as shown in the installation instructions.
- Label the ports
Attach the fiber caution and laser warning labels to the appropriate locations on the fiber drawer to ensure safety compliance.
- Verify installation
Use a multimeter to check the connections and ensure that all components are properly installed and functioning.
