How to Install the N82DHDW Dual Hinge Door
Instructions for installing and removing the dual hinge door on the N82DHDW N-Type Switch Cabinet.

2.5mm Allen Key, 4mm Allen Key, T25 Torx, T30 Torx bit
Supplies needed:
M4 Flat Head Screws, M5 Flat Head Screws, M5 Hinge Screw, Hinge Pin, Lift Pin Bracket, Lift Pin Wear Plate, M6 Torx Screw, Bottom Hinge Bracket, Bottom Hinge Pin, Bottom Hinge Pin Screw, Bottom Hinge Pin Locknut, Plastic Washer
- Install Top Hinge Bracket
Install the Top Hinge Bracket onto the cabinet frame using either M4 or M5 flat head screws, depending on the bracket type. Use the appropriate Allen key or Torx bit for tightening. Ensure two brackets are installed.
- Install Lift Pin Components
Attach the Lift Pin Bracket and Lift Pin Wear Plate to the cabinet frame.
- Install Bottom Hinge Bracket
Install the Bottom Hinge Bracket, Bottom Hinge Pin Screw, Bottom Hinge Pin Locknut, and Bottom Hinge Pin onto the cabinet frame. Ensure two sets of these components are installed.
- Mount the Dual Hinge Door
Open both swing handles on the cabinet. Ensure one top latch is open and the other is closed. Lift the door, engaging the closed bottom latch onto the bottom hinge pin. While supporting the door's weight, align the open top latch with the cabinet and push the door until it latches. Toggle the red finger handle to open the top latch on the previously closed side. Close both swing handles and then close the door.
- Remove the Dual Hinge Door
Open both swing handles. While supporting the door's weight, pull the red finger handle to toggle the latch on the open side of the door to the closed position. Push the top of the hinged side of the door away from the cabinet to detach it. Lift the door off the bottom hinge pin.
- Adjust Door Operation
Remove the door or open one side. Loosen the two Hinge Pin Screws at the bottom of the cabinet and raise them approximately 6mm (0.25 inches). Lower the two Hinge Pin Locknuts to the bottom of the Hinge Pin Post Screw. Reinstall the door. Raise the two Hinge Pin Locknuts until the Plastic Washers touch the bottom of the door, then lower the locknut by 1 revolution. Open each side of the door and tighten the two Hinge Pin Screws. Close the door and check for interference; if interference exists, lower the locknut until it is resolved.
