Remove the battery door on the back of the printer. Install 6 AA batteries, observing the molded indicators for correct polarity. Reinstall the battery door. Do not install batteries incorrectly, as this may damage the printer. When replacing batteries, replace all six at the same time.
- Install Label Cassette
Remove the cassette door on the back of the printer. Install the label cassette, pressing firmly until it locks into place. The printer will power on automatically. Reinstall the cassette door.
- Lock Print Head
Move the print head latch to the locked position. The printer is now ready for use.
