Screwdriver, Wrench, Torque wrench
Supplies needed:
5/16-18 X 1/2” Serrated Bolts, Cage Nuts, Mounting screws
- Assemble Vertical Posts and Beams
Align (2) Vertical Post Assemblies with (2) Front-to-Back Beam Assemblies, ensuring the flanges lie on top of the beams. Secure using (4) 5/16-18 X 1/2” Serrated Bolts, with (2) bolts on each beam.
- Attach Cage Nut Rails
Turn the assembly over and place (1) Left-Hand Cage Nut Rail and (1) Right-Hand Cage Nut Rail so that the mounting holes align with the assembly. Ensure consistent numbering on both sides.
- Secure Cage Nut Rails
Attach the Cage Nut Rails to the assembly using (16) 5/16-18 X 1/2” Serrated Bolts, with (4) bolts in each corner. Do not torque down bolts yet.
- Attach Cross Members
Attach (2) Cross Members to each side of the assembled frame with unmounted flanges facing outward using (4) 5/16-18 X 1/2” Serrated Bolts. Do not torque down bolts yet.
- Finish Assembly
Place the rack in an upright position and tighten all bolts to at least 14.0 ft-lbs. of torque to complete the assembly.
