Overview

The Panduit HTCT6X-6X-1 is a copper compression H-Tap designed for making parallel and multiple tap connections on code and flex conductors. It is UL Listed and CSA Certified for applications up to 600V, with a maximum temperature rating of 90°C. The required wire strip length for installation is 1 inch (25 mm).   1. Prepare the Wire

    Insert the stripped ends of the wire conductors into the designated tap openings (Tap 1, Tap 2, Tap 3 as applicable). Ensure the wires are fully seated within the tap body.

  3. Crimp the Tap

    Select the correct Panduit installation tool and crimp die as indicated in Table 1 for the specific HTCT6X-6X-1 part number. Perform the required number of crimps (typically 1) as specified in Table 1. Ensure a secure and complete crimp.

  4. Install the Insulating Cover
