The Panduit GCHE250-250 Heavy Duty Ground 'E' Style Connector is a copper grounding solution for 1/0 STR to 250 kcmil (70–120 mm²) conductors. Designed for conductor-to-conductor and conductor-to-ground rod/rebar applications, this single-part connector simplifies inventory with its wide range-taking capability. The slotted design enables quick assembly, while the pre-applied conductive antioxidant compound ensures a high-quality mechanical and electrical bond, reducing installation time and improving reliability. Manufactured from heavy-wall, extruded high-conductivity copper, the GCHE250-250 delivers premium electrical performance and high strength. It supports ground rod sizes from 0.5 to 0.625 in (12.7 to 15.9 mm) and rebar sizes from 0.375 to 0.5 in (#3 to #4, 9.5 to 12.7 mm). The connector measures 2.66 in (67.6 mm) in height, 1.00 in (25.4 mm) in length, and 1.08 in (27.4 mm) in width. Panduit’s color-coded system (Black) and die index number (CD-930G-250) simplify proper crimp die selection. Ideal for power distribution systems, substations, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings, the GCHE250-250 meets IEEE Std 837-2002 and REV 2014 standards. It complies with vibration tests per MIL-STD-202G (METHOD 201A). Note: Not rated for use with galvanized ground rods or galvanized cable.
