The Panduit GCC6-500-250 is a "6x6" style cross connector designed for robust grounding and bonding applications. The tap conductor range is from 2 AWG stranded to 250 kcmil (35-120mm²). This connector features a slotted design for quick and easy conductor assembly using Panduit cable ties, which are included. A pre-applied conductive antioxidant compound ensures a superior bond and speeds up installation time. For proper crimp die selection, the connector is color-coded and marked with Panduit die index numbers. The Panduit GCC6-500-250 is UL 467 Listed and CSA 22.2 Certified, making it suitable for direct burial in earth or concrete when crimped with specified Panduit or competitor tools and dies. It also complies with vibration tests per MIL-STD-202G (METHOD 201A). Please note, this connector is not rated for use with galvanized ground rods and/or galvanized cable. The "6x6" style offers a wide range-taking ability and a multi-conductor design, minimizing the number of parts required for conductor-to-conductor, conductor-to-ground rod, and conductor-to-rebar applications. The enhanced crimp process, utilizing patent-pending technology, meets IEEE Std 837 - 2002 and REV 2014 standards. The main conductor connection utilizes the blue Panduit color code and PG50 die index number. The tap conductor connection also uses the blue Panduit color code and PG50 die index number.
