Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable entry grommets, Strain relief brackets, Fiber caution label, Laser warning label, Port I.D. labels

  1. Prepare the enclosure

    Determine the cable entry location on the enclosure. Remove the knockout by inserting a screwdriver into the slot located in the center of the knockout and applying a twisting motion from the inside of the enclosure.

  2. Install cable entry grommet

    Insert the grommet following the proper cutting diagram. Ensure that the grommet is securely in place to prevent dust and debris from entering the enclosure.

  3. Mount the enclosure

    Mount the enclosure to the wall using the appropriate location guide. Use suitable mounting hardware (not provided) to ensure the enclosure is securely attached.

  4. Install strain relief

    Install the strain relief in the slot next to the grommet using the provided #10-32 x 3/8” screw and #10-32 hex nut. Ensure it is tightened properly to secure the cables.

  5. Label the enclosure

    Apply the Laser Warning Label and Fiber Caution Label on the inside of the larger door in a clearly visible location. Apply Port I.D. Label(s) on the inside of the small door as shown.
