How to Install the FRTBWG24BL FIBER RUNNER Threaded Rod Trapeze Brackets

Instructions for installing Panduit FIBER RUNNER Threaded Rod Trapeze Brackets with the Wyr-Grid Overhead Cable Tray Routing System.

Estimated time: 30m

Tools needed:

Wrench

Supplies needed:

1/2” or 12mm Threaded Rod (Not Included), 1/2-13 or 12mm Hex Nut (Not Included), 1/2” or 12mm Helical Spring Lockwasher (Not Included), 1/4-20 T-Bolt (for FR6TB12 only), 1/4-20 Hex KEPS Nut (for FR6TB12 only)

  1. Prepare the threaded rod

If using the FR6TB12, thread a 1/4-20 T-Bolt into the bracket. For all other part numbers, ensure you have the appropriate 1/2" or 12mm threaded rod.

  2. Attach the bracket to the threaded rod

Slide the FIBER RUNNER bracket onto the threaded rod. If using the FR6TB12, ensure the T-Bolt is engaged. For other part numbers, thread a 1/2" or 12mm Hex Nut onto the rod, above the bracket. Secure with a 1/2" or 12mm Helical Spring Lockwasher and another 1/2" or 12mm Hex Nut below the bracket. Tighten securely.

  3. Mount the bracket to the Wyr-Grid system

Position the assembled bracket and threaded rod with the Wyr-Grid Overhead Cable Tray Routing System. Secure the bracket to the Wyr-Grid system using the appropriate Panduit components (e.g., FR12X4, FR716DR, WGTBS series, depending on the specific bracket and tray configuration). Refer to the Panduit Wyr-Grid system documentation for detailed mounting instructions.
