Overview

The Panduit Opticom FMTJ24 fiber tray (SKU: FMTJ24) is engineered for organizing fiber distribution cabling in telecommunications rooms and other areas where space is limited. The FMTJ24 is designed to manage and organize fiber distribution, and can also be used to manage cable from outside the facility. This tray features 24 ports and a black finish. It is specifically designed for use with the modular patch panel (CPP24WBL) and can accommodate fiber or UTP modules. The removable top cover allows for easy access to splices and cable storage, enhancing maintenance and installation efficiency. The tray maintains a critical 30mm bend radius, essential for protecting both 250μm and 900μm fiber types and preventing signal degradation. Internal cable management offers multiple routing options, including crossover capabilities. Pivoting splice holders ensure precise control of the fiber during splicing. A built-in fiber pick aids in the withdrawal of individual fibers when needed. The tray is stackable, utilizing a built-in hinge for easy access. It includes a transparent lid secured by a hinge and latch, with cable tie points for fiber management at entry and exit. Mounting options include a center hole, DIN style holes, or a double-sided foam adhesive pad. The FMTJ24 is compatible with Molex CES 1U/2U/4U 19” standard fiber enclosures. Environmental specifications include an operating temperature range of -10 to +60°C and an operating humidity range of 25 to 85% (non-condensing). It is intended for indoor use only in offices and residences, away from moisture, direct sunlight, mechanical shock, and excessive load. The nominal dimensions are W 482.6mm x D 282.6mm x H 42.9mm (19 inches x 11.13 inches x 1.69 inches). This product is available exclusively in Japan.
