This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the FlexCore ODF Front Access 288 Fiber Tethered Universal Enclosure, ensuring proper setup and cable management.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cable ties
- Unbox the enclosure
Carefully open the box and remove the foam to reveal the cable. Avoid cutting the cable while opening.
- Prepare the cable
Remove all strips of Tak-Ty holding the coil of cable together. Unspool approximately 10ft (3m) of cable and set it aside.
- Install the enclosure
Remove the enclosure from the cardboard sleeve and end caps. Install the enclosure into the frame using the methods outlined in FS203.
- Attach cable transition
Connect the cable transition to the appropriate location on the ingress/egress plates on the vertical cable manager as per FS206, Section 4.
- Ensure cable slack
Pull out every tray in the enclosure to confirm there is enough slack for the tray to move without stressing the fibers.
- Complete installation
Verify that all components are securely installed and that the enclosure is properly mounted. Installation is now complete.
