13mm Socket, T25 Torx driver, 19mm Wrench, 8mm Hex Drive, Level
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Shipping Hold Down Brackets, Anchors for floor mounting
- Remove Packaging Material
Remove all stretch wrap, protective cardboard, and plastic from the cabinet. Use at least two persons to carefully lift and remove the cabinet from the pallet.
- Level the Cabinet
Ensure that the leveling legs are fully retracted. Slide the cabinet into its final position and lower the leveling legs until the cabinet is fully supported. Adjust the legs to ensure the cabinet is level both front-to-back and side-to-side.
- Secure the Cabinet to the Floor
With the leveling legs retracted, secure the Shipping Hold Down Brackets at the front and rear of the cabinet. Attach anchors to the floor using appropriate hardware for your floor type.
- Ground the Cabinet
Attach a grounding lug or grounding bar to the Common Bonding Network (CBN) using any bonus hole along the frame's front-to-rear members.
- Install Equipment Rails
Remove screws from the equipment rails using a T25 Torx bit. Adjust the rails to the desired position and re-install screws to the specified torque.
- Install PDUs
Install the first two PDUs in the farthest back locations on either side of the cabinet. For additional PDUs, remove the screw from the middle of the bracket.
- Calibrate and Test
Once all components are installed, verify the stability of the cabinet and ensure that all electrical connections are secure. Test the functionality of installed equipment.
