Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, External mounting bracket kit (sold separately)
- Remove the cover
Pull the latches simultaneously away from the edge of the cover and lift the cover until the tabs on the opposite side disengage from the enclosure base.
- Mount the enclosure base
Secure the enclosure base to a horizontal or vertical surface using appropriate anchors based on the type of surface. Use the internal keyholes or attach the external mounting brackets (sold separately) to the sides of the base using the screws provided.
- Install the patch panel
Ensure the panel locking tabs are positioned away from the panel slot. Install the patch panel in the desired location, ensuring it is populated before installation for easier access. Slide the panel locking tabs into the topmost mounting hole locations of the patch panel and tighten the locking screws.
- Connect the cabling
Follow the instructions for your specific jack module for cable installation. Ensure to adhere to the cable manufacturer's bend radius specifications and apply best practices for cable management extending out from the consolidation box.
- Attach optional strain relief bar
If using the strain relief bar (sold separately), mount it to the front and rear of the enclosure using the threaded holes in the enclosure base and the screws supplied with the strain relief bar.
