CJT6X88TG** Jack Module, 28-30 AWG UTP Cable, 28-30 AWG wire cap (aqua), Strain relief clip
- Prepare the Cable Jacket
Remove 2.0 inches (50.8 mm) of the cable jacket from the end of the 28-30 AWG UTP cable. Carefully trim away any internal wrapping or fillers to expose the individual insulated conductors.
- Trim Pair Separator and Drain Wire
Carefully trim any pair separator and drain wire present in the cable, ensuring that the insulated conductors remain undamaged and at their full length.
- Insert Conductors into Wire Cap
Place the prepared conductors into the 28-30 AWG aqua wire cap. Do not pre-arrange the conductors; simply align them with the color-coded slots on the wire cap according to either T568A or T568B wiring scheme as required for your installation.
- Terminate Conductors
Position the wire cap with the conductors onto the jack module. Using a Panduit EGJT or CWST punchdown tool, firmly press the wire cap onto the jack module to terminate all conductors simultaneously. Ensure all conductors are fully seated and excess wire is trimmed.
- Secure Strain Relief Clip
Attach the strain relief clip to the terminated jack module. Ensure the clip is securely fastened to provide proper cable retention and prevent stress on the terminated conductors.
