Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Carriage bolts, Washers, Locknuts
- Select the appropriate cleat
Contact Panduit Sales for assistance with cleat and hardware selection based on your cable specifications.
- Measure and prepare the cleat
Measure the actual diameter of the cables and remove the top plastic spacer from the cleat according to the diameter size. Refer to the spacer decision table for guidance.
- Mount the cleat using a bracket
Insert the bracket into the slot in the lower plastic spacer of the cable cleat. Slide the cleat over the ladder rung until it is centered, ensuring the bracket encompasses the rung.
- Secure the cleat
Rotate the swing bolt until the carriage head rests within the matching opening in the top of the bracket. Tighten to 60 in-lbs [6.8Nm].
- Place cables in the cleat
Open the top clamshell of the cleat and place the cables inside in a trefoil configuration. Close the top clamshell around the cables.
- Finalize the installation
Assemble the included nut and washer onto the securing bolt and tighten to 15 ft-lbs [20.3Nm] to ensure the cables are securely held.
