Aerial Support Ties AST10-5-C100, Support strand
- Snap the tie onto the support strand
Snap the groove portion of the Aerial Support Tie onto the support strand to secure it in place.
- Position the cable
Position the cable against the tie spacer and thread the tail of the tie through the slot in the head. Push upwards on the body of the tie until it is snug.
- Tighten the tie
Use pliers to utilize the tension steps on the tie to tighten it completely. Ensure that the tie is secure and the cable is properly supported.
- Cut the tip if necessary
If releasability is not required, cut off the tip of the tie for a clean finish.
- Release the tie if needed
To release the tie, use a screwdriver to push the locking tab towards the support strand.
