- Install the Door Switch Sensor's Magnet
Attach the Door Switch Sensor’s magnet to the top corner of the cabinet using double-sided tape, screws, or optional bracket hardware.
- Install the Door Switch Sensor's Magnetic Switch
Attach the Door Switch Sensor’s magnetic switch to the top corner of the cabinet door opposite the magnet using double-sided tape, screws, or optional bracket hardware. Ensure the distance between the magnetic switch and magnet is less than 10mm when the door is closed.
- Connect the Door Switch Sensor
Plug the Door Switch Sensor into an available Sensor port on the G5 iPDU.
- Install the USB Light Strip
Place the Light Strip in the cabinet using the pre-installed magnetic rings.
- Connect the USB Harness
Connect the USB Harness from the Light Strip to the USB port on the iPDU.
- Secure the USB Harness
Route and secure the USB Harness using the included adhesive backed mounts and cable ties.
- Verify Installation
Check the G5 iPDU display or web interface to confirm that the Door Switch Sensor is functioning correctly.
